Tami Bitner had three pieces selected for First, Second, and Third places in the Abstract Category at the Waynesboro Studio Art Club’s Annual Clothesline Exhibit in Waynesboro, PA. The exhibit took place from June 11 to June 14 at Waynesboro Church of the Brethren.
The Clothesline Art Show started in 1951, shortly after the Studio Art Club was founded. The artwork was originally displayed in the Waynesboro square on ropes that were hung between telephone poles and street lamps, much like a clothesline with clothes on it.
Above is her First Place winning piece entitled “Sheer Descent”. For more information about the Waynesboro Studio Art Club call Cindy Smith, club president, at 717-765-4139
Tami will also be exhibiting her mixed media art at Highmark Blue Shield in Camp Hill, PA through the Art Association of Harrisburg Community Shows from July 1 thru August 31.
